Abstract :
Effect of physical and geometrical parameters of tunable microstrip antenna structure on its alteration characteristics and radiation efficiency is investigated. It is shown that method of changing the dimensions of air gap between substrate and radiator allows increasing bandwidth and efficiency of antenna radiation. Recomendations in selecting a substrate material are also presented.
