Abstract :
Industrial agglomeration, population expansion lead to urban sprawl, the contradictions between the high degree of concentration of the urban central city and reach ability are the core issues that must be addressed in the process of urbanization. Urban transport network and the city´s industrial agglomeration exists a close relationship, the accumulation of certain scale requires a certain degree of urban transportation, and urban transport can guide the development of urban form. The effectiveness of the transportation network is the basis for the rationalization of urban form, and determines the scale and efficiency of the city´s boundary. This article aims to analyze the possibilities and causes of further agglomeration in the central city of Beijing, and combines market potential function model and urban spatial structure optimization theory to explore the boundaries of agglomeration economies, analysis the coordination of city traffic and urban development issues in the context of agglomeration economies.
