Abstract :
In this work the synchronous detection and the indirect current-control methods are investigated for determining the reference compensating currents of the shunt active power filter under balanced, unbalanced and distorted source voltage conditions. The three-phase power system with a diode rectifier is simulated. The simulation results are used for comparison.
