Abstract :
The effective method for prevention ferroresonance development in electrical networks is presented. It is shown that the occurrence of ferroresonance is connected to the existence of necessary and sufficient conditions. To determine the domains of dangerous parameters as necessary conditions the method of nonlinear dynamics are used. The harmonic balance method confirms the probability of ferroresonance phenomena. Unlike traditional approaches, this combined method allows to find the entire set of ferroresonant circuit possible modes.
