Abstract
Organic semiconductor lasers encapsulated with ultra-thin glass and optically-pumped with a 450 nm laser diode are reported. The lasers are mechanically flexible, have a 290 W/cm2 oscillation threshold and their photo-stability is two orders of magnitude higher than their non-encapsulated counterparts.
