Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach for designing a compact, wideband and multi-band notch antenna by implementing discrete capacitors and a suspended-line feeding. The proposed antenna covers the bands 1.56-2.58GHz and 5.18-5.44GHz with a minimum of about 50% total efficiency and 0dBi realized gain over both bands. Wireless standards as DCS-1800, IMT-2000, WiFi a/b/g/n and LTE (7 and 38 bands) are all covered efficiently.
