Abstract
A 12-element planar patch antenna array along with its integrated feed network at 2.45 GHz is presented. Two methods for implementing the feed network with six phase shifters is introduced and investigated. The minimization in the number of phase shifters will be done at the expense of reducing the ability of the beam scanning of the array but in a way to minimize this effect. The phased array antenna is to be embedded in the wing structure of an unmanned air vehicle (UAV).
