Abstract :
In radar systems, it is crucial to detect a target keeping a constant false alarm rate (CFAR). The typical OS-CFAR is known to be most effective in automotive environments because of its rank based characteristics, however, it also has problem of high computational overhead. In this paper, we propose a novel Anchor Based Insertion Sorting algorithm for OS-CFAR. Our scheme utilizes a linked-list based structure to present the ordered sequence and anchors to indicate several featured samples. Through experiments, we verify that our scheme reduced the computational overhead drastically.
