Abstract
A novel approach for the high resolution direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation which requires only single channel receiver is proposed in this paper. Firstly, based on the bandpass signal reconstruction theory we establish a new processing model that is capable of handling both narrowband and wideband cases according to single channel output. In addition, the posterior distribution of DOA was derived. Then, we develop a new hybrid MCMC algorithm to perform the Bayesian computation. Finally, DOA estimation was achieved based on the bayesian maximum posterior probability estimation. The proposed model is applicable to wideband, narrowband, correlated and incorrelated signals. Simulation results verify the correctness and efficiency of the new method.
