Abstract :
Compliance tests for railway signaling equipment are getting more important for manufacturing railway traction converters. The traction converters emit disturbance current interfering with track circuits and electromagnetic field interfering with magnetic loops, which are also called balises. The interference with balises is severe problem because the electromagnetic field has been unknown because calculation model has not been developed. This paper develops a calculation model of the interference between railway traction inverters and balises. The calculation model mainly use magnetic induction between motor cables of traction inverters and antenna coils of balises. The experimental results of verification test indicate the usefulness of the calculation model.
