Abstract :
The impact of the materials used to support the EUT has been widely documented, but these considerations have typically only dealt with the frequency range up to 1 GHz. CISPR 16-1-4[1] has extended this range up to 18 GHz and the latest draft of ANSI C63.4[2] specifically requires the assessment of the tables covering this higher frequency. Based upon these new requirements, this paper does an analysis of the impact of different table materials, up to 18 GHz and highlights where ANSI, CISPR 16 and other CISPR standards may be improved.
