Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a simple monitoring system with the use of specially fabricated Fibre Bragg Gratings (FBGs) and Optical Power Meter (OPM). The main idea bases on stable and easy to build system for environmental parameters measurements using in-line fused FBGs. Here are presented the results of temperature measurement monitoring system. The broader aim was to create sensor network, which would allow to detect changes of outer environmental parameters in easy and stable way for indicated locations. Proposed monitoring system was subject to wide range temperature variations.
