Abstract
In this paper, shielding effects of some enclosures composed with thin wires (wire arrays) are studied. For examples, the thin wire arrays lined on a circle making a tube are analyzed to evaluate the shielding effectiveness as well as the field distributions in and around the structure. The near fields formed by the wire system that includes an active wire or a wire driven by an external power source are shown.
