Abstract :
We propose a physical-layer technique for checking the integrity of information provided by the relay in wireless relay networks. The proposed approach, built on the theory of likelihood ratio test, exploits the physical-layer signal in detecting the data modification (false data injection) conducted by the relay. We show that the proposed approach can provide almost the same performance that can be provided by the ideal cryptographic technique that perfectly detects the data modification at the expense of significant computational complexity and protocol overhead.
