Abstract
This paper presents a case study evaluating the share of Information and Communication Technologies infrastructure in energy consumption of manufacturing line controlled using multi-agent system. The manufacturing line is run based on predefined case scenarios involving different recipes of products. The power consumption in each scenario is calculated for the manufacturing line itself and the ICT equipment. Each factor involved in power consumption is evaluated and recommendations are given, based on green ICT concept, for making the system more energy efficient.
