Abstract :
A software tool Synopsys´ Educational Generic Memory Compiler (GMC) that enables automatic generation of static RAM cells (SRAMs) based on the parameters supplied by the user is presented. The software and the generated SRAMs are made to be free from intellectual property restrictions and can be easily integrated into educational designs. GMC deployment proved its effectiveness in educational process.
