Abstract :
Anti-plane deformations of a piezoelectric semiconductor plate with a circular hole were analyzed. Under a polar coordinate system we derived the displacement equation, the electric potential equation and the electron density equation. After prescribing the mechanical and electric boundary conditions on the hole surface, the corresponding solutions were obtained. Numerical results compared the difference from piezoelectric dielectrics induced by semiconducting characteristics of piezoelectric semiconductors. The results are useful for the design and applications of piezoelectric semiconductor devices.
