Fiber optic applications for tactical vehicles

As the complexity of tactical vehicles has grown in the past decade, fiber optics have become increasingly important for implementing mobile LAN systems and providing additional flexibility for mobility networking and signals collection. Tactical vehicle requirements for fiber optics are more similar to those of aircraft applications than to fiber optic systems being developed for commercial automobiles.
