Abstract
In this paper a double ended flyback converter working under ZCS condition is introduced. The proposed converter uses an active auxiliary snubber circuit to provide soft switching conditions. Besides providing soft switching condition, another parameter which is very important in power converters is electromagnetic interference (EMI). Therefore, the effect of the soft switched proposed converter and its behavior on EMI is investigated and predicted. Also the results are compared with the hard switching one. In order to show the effectiveness of the predicted model for the proposed converter to anticipate the converter´s EMI behavior, simulation results are offered.
