Abstract :
In this study, SWCNT as a buffer layer used to improve the electrical properties of organic solar cells. The buffer layer is located between active layer and cathode electrode in the solar cells such as the structure of PET/ITO/PEDOT:PSS/MEH-PPV:C60 (1:2)/SWCNT/Al. In addition, the active layer was spin-coated that used three different solvents such as chlorobenzene, 1,2-dichlorobenzene and toluene. The results proved that the SWCNTs act as tunnels to help electron collection by cathode electrode and prevent the randomly movement of electrons after dissociation. Therefore, after implementing this method the increment of short circuit current of fabricated solar cells occurred. Additionally, type of solvent make an important role in efficiency of fabricated solar cell.
