Abstract :
A large proportion of control problems involve the control of fluids, such as coaxing fluids to moving into desired spatial positions or acting as a medium for moving the positions of solid objects into desired spatial positions or orientations. Such fluid control problems are ubiquitous in a wide range of applications including in the process industries, nuclear reactors, biological systems, marine vehicles, and aeronautics. This issue of CSM is devoted to various kinds of fluid control problems.
