  • Abstract
    EMTP is one of the useful softwares in power system studies especially in transient and protection analysis. In this software, there are some built-in models for synchronous machine as well as induction machine that could be used to simulate machine-based DG. However, for inverter-based DG there are neither such built-in models nor any reference, which explain simulation procedure in detail. This paper presents simulation procedure of inverter in detail and applicable manner in such way that anybody can easily simulate inverters by imitating introduced procedure.
