Abstract
Residue Number System (RNS) is an appropriate system for arithmetic operations because of high speed execution during their calculation. Constant operations are one of the key elements in many applications such as digital signal processing (DSP) systems. One of these operations is division. There are many algorithms for division operation in Residue Number System (RNS). In this paper a non_iterative RNS division algorithm for constant divider structures of the form 2n-1 and 2n is presented. Comparison between proposed algorithm in this paper and [14] based on more time consuming operation, modular multiplication, shows increase in speed from 4n+b to b+1. Comparison based on cost and limitation in divider shows decrease in cost and less limitation in divider during divide operation.
