Abstract :
In this paper a novel Alamouti-type coding scheme is presented for the complex CDMA OFDM/OQAM system based on Walsh-Hadamard (W-H) spreading codes. The proposed scheme introduces an approach to gain time diversity in complex CDMA filterbank system. This approach is in particular effective for transmission over doubly selective channels. System performance is evaluated in an underwater acoustic (UWA) channel through computer simulations and the results demonstrate that the new developed system outperforms the conventional complex CDMA OFDM/OQAM system at high SNRs without compromising on data rate.
