Abstract :
A Q-band folded waveguide traveling wave tube (FW-TWT) designed and its geometrical dimensions optimized to achieve better bandwidth. An average output power exceeding 195 watts and a bandwidth of greater than 8 GHz around the 44Ghz has achieved. Our results verified by both small signal theory and PIC simulator.
