  • Abstract
The number of the mobile devices has a great growth over the last decades. The development of mobile devices has brought a significant increase of users who view comic online by mobile devices. A key challenge for viewing comic online by mobile devices is offering suitable sized contents of comic to mobile devices. This leads to the development of E-comic scene frame extraction approaches. In this scenario, this paper proposed a multiple Gabor filters based on automatic E-comic scene frame extraction approach to solve this issue. The results show that the proposed approach works efficiently in the existing E-comic segmentation system, which outperforms the existing state-of-the-art approaches.
