Abstract :
In this paper, we focus on two important parts of the microwave protection system of a high-power linear accelerator. We present a new algorithmic design for high-power circulator with low insertion loss (0.2 dB) and high isolation (34 dB), which is so simple and easy to design in every frequency range. Another device investigated in this work is a high-power dummy load which has an essential role in the microwave protection systems. In this design, the main absorber is water due to its high thermal capacitance. The designed water load is new, simple to fabricate, and low cost.
