Abstract :
A compact, efficient antenna which resonates at 2.4GHz with reconfigurable polarization characteristics is presented. A single-fed antenna with square shaped patch and cross shaped slot is designed and slot is loaded with PIN diode switches. Four switches are used to change the polarization states. By switching two diodes on and off the antenna can be reconfigured between RHCP and LHCP. Four diodes in the on state provides antenna with LP.
