  • Abstract
    We demonstrate an L-Band Multi-wavelength Brillouin-Raman fiber laser in a ring cavity utilizing a partially reflective fiber Bragg grating. The partially reflective fiber Bragg grating is utilized to provide feedback into the cavity in opposite direction which is normally accomplished using an S-feedback loop. Using this technique total cavity loss is reduced as lesser optical components are used. As a result, better performance has been achieved in terms of low threshold power, high number of Stokes lines with high signal-to-noise-ratio.
