Abstract :
The system and process to manufacture long tapers is described. This paper shows results obtained from the simulation and experimental fabrication of meso tapers (20 to 50cm in length) on a long stage. The relation of taper waist length to taper waist diameter is formed from experimental result analysis. The problems and challenges faced during the fabrication of long tapers are also discussed.
