Abstract
In this paper a triangulation method applying RFID radar to detect high voltage conductor position is addressed. Only one sending and one receiving antennas are needed in the mobile RFID radar system. By moving the receiver, the proposed method imitates multi-radar station system to measure the distances from the tags to the ground. Because of the simple design, the proposed system is very economical. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed method is effective to measure the position of tags stick on the conductor with relevant high accuracy.
