Personalized health support system for elderly people based on an application for the web and smartphone

We have developed an Elderly people Health Management System (EHMS) for the web and smartphones. The system acquires information about the individual, including information about basic physical strength, and provides services that can be used for personalized health management. In general, the management of physical exercises is targeted for physically handicapped or disabled population with limited clinical data in cases where the limited clinical data are not sufficient for prescribing a wide range of physical exercise elements. In our program, comprehensive physical information is provided to the specific user and data for 300 pre-archived physical exercises are used to construct instructions for physical exercises based on the user´s personal requirements. The EHMS offers an algorithm to users, which is developed through our research, for individual physical exercises with scientific data analysis. Based on this algorithm, the subject´s physical condition can be accurately analyzed and reflected in order to provide a suitable exercise prescription.
