  • Abstract
New surface treatment systems hybridized with cup-stacked carbon nanotubes(CSCNTs) featuring anti-corrosion and anti-impact were developed applied for aluminum alloy using under the deep seawater such as pressure vessel at 3,000m in depth. The coated test specimens were passed at pressurization test under the increase and decrease pressure ratio 2MPa per minute and 15 minute kept at maximum pressure 33MPa. These coated test specimens were passed at galvanic corrosion test steeped seawater with other metals such as SUS316 for 45 days, succeedingly. After these several tests, CSCNT dispersed coating systems were applied for the actual pressure vessel for HID light loaded in JAMSTEC´s new AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) “OTOHIME”.
