Abstract :
Due to frequent handovers in wireless communication system for high-speed trains, communication interruption caused by handover failures could seriously degrade the users´ quality of service. To handle this problem, this paper proposes a shared radio units based distributed antenna system for highspeed trains. Throughout the paper, we show the technical feasibility of the proposed shared radio units based distributed antenna system, and the simulation results also demonstrate that the proposed distributed antenna system is an effective way to solve handover failure problem by providing highly reliable communication links.
