Abstract :
In this paper, we discuss the improvement of MPEG Syntactic Description Language (MSDL) for its usage in the MPEG Reconfigurable Media Coding (RMC) framework. We have tested the description performance of the proposed language through experiments based on MPEG-4 Simple Profile bitstream syntax.
