Abstract :
This paper reports a short review of recent developments in the field of microwave imaging, which have been obtained by using deterministic quantitative approaches based on the inexact-Newton method. Numerical and experimental results recently attained by using the above mentioned methods are discussed with specific reference to nondestructive evaluation of dielectric materials such as plastic and wood.
