Abstract :
The paper introduces about the analytical detection methods of the trace accelerant (ethanol, acetone, etc.) in a fire residue. It gives a remark on the sample pre-processing and its analysis method. By using some new pre-treatment methods (including Headspace, Solid Phase Micro Extraction SPME, Supercritical Fluid Extraction SFE, Liquid Phase Micro Extraction LPME, and Chemical Derivatization CD), and other analysis and detection methods such as UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography and "Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry", ideal analysis results can be obtained.
