Abstract :
The simple automatic sprinkler system, with the characteristics of small investment and simple construction, is widely used in various small existing buildings that have high risk of fire. In this study, experiments were conducted to analyze the feasibility of using plastic pipe in the simple automatic sprinkler system. The results of the study conclude that hot-water plastic pipe can tolerate the temperatures of the initial phase of fire in fast response sprinklers.
