Abstract :
This paper is devoted to explain certain important aspects of a water rescue helmet. The paper has the following content: Firstly, the head injury theory is explained and the related design criteria are identified. Then the Foam layer design and material selection are conducted. In addition, the helmet sample is evaluated by experiment under safety standard EN1385, results are presented.
