Abstract :
The P (NIPA-co-SA) temperature-sensitivity hydrogel is synthesized in laboratory. The structure and temperature sensitivity of product are identified through FT-IR and DSC. By cooling performance experiment board and fire extinguishment experiment board designed and established, the cooling performance and crib fire extinguishment experiments are carried out as well. The results show that P (NIPA-co-SA) hydrogel has sensitive response to temperature, which has good water retention and cooling effect. This kind of extinguish ant can effectively extinguish solid fire, which is better than water and ordinary fire extinguishing agent.
