Abstract :
In mobile communications, radio channel has a significant impact on signal propagations, thus it is of great importance to research the radio channel characteristics in mobile communications, which is the focus of this paper. Our research is outlined from three aspects: first is the basic introduction of the signal propagation in radio channels, which can be attributed to three basic means: reflection, diffraction and scattering, the second is the channel model evolution and signal propagation model evolution in radio channels, the third is the transmission characteristics of radio channels, including large scale fading, small scale fading, flat fading, frequency selective fading, Doppler frequency shift and impulse response. Radio channel is an environment varying with time, environment and other external factors. The discussion of the mobile radio channel characteristics in this paper provides theoretical references to improve the transmitting quality of the mobile communication signal.
