Abstract :
This paper analyses requirement according to the project´s location and the actual demand of some city´s museum in China, finally establishes a tourists self-guided system based on Android handheld devices which greatly facilitates the visitor experience, using the currently popular J2EE architecture combining MYSQL database. And the system development process, requirements analysis, design, detailed design and implementation process is described in detail in this paper. Through the application of the system, tourists can self-understand exhibits. Tourists not only appreciate the exterior appearance of the exhibits but also get a wealth of knowledge.
