Abstract :
In this paper, a fractal triangular patch design is proposed which is a combination of Koch and Sierpinski techniques. The proposed design will provide contribution to the ultra wide band characteristics. The proposed design used 4.4 relative permittivity thick FR-4 epoxy substrate with dimension 21.45*17.89*1.6 mm3 and partial ground plane. To increase the bandwidth of proposed design, a slot is cut in partial ground plane. This proposed antenna design operates over the frequency range 3.7 GHz-7.56 GHz with return loss -24.25dB and VSWR<;2. Also the bandwidth of proposed antenna is increased up to 67.99%.The radiation pattern of the proposed antenna is Omni-directional in H-plane. The simulation of this antenna is done by High Frequency Structure Simulator.
