Abstract :
A Cognitive Radio (CR) is presented which consists of a sensing antenna and an operational dual narrow band antenna. The proposed antenna is developed using coplanar wave guide technique where each antenna has separate feed point and are placed together on the same substrate. The sensing antenna covers the wide range from 2.9 to 11 GHz and the narrow band Antenna covers dual band(3.9 - 4.05) GHz due to LC resonator with bandwidth of 0.15 GHz and (5.2 - 6.1) GHz with bandwidth of 0.9 GHz due to the ground length, called as upper WIMAX band.
