  • Abstract
    The trough girder and arch composite bridge in Ningqi railway is the engineering practice of this bridge style in first time. It has advantages of both arch bridge and trough girder bridge, so it is considered to replace the steel truss bridge for its´ high maintenance costs. The mechanical behavior analysis has a great realistic significance. The three-dimensional entity model of this bridge was established with ANSYS. Under certain conditions main mechanical performance such as the strength, stiffness and cracking resistance of this bridge is analyzed.
