Abstract
Modern video surveillance systems need to acquire clear video images of the interest targets in wide range scene, which usually have some difficulties only by changing the cameras focal length when the targets distance and constantly move. In order to obtain details of the features of long distance moving targets in wide range of monitoring scene, we use a panoramic camera and Intelligent Speed Dome Camera (PTZ: Pan-Tilt-Zoom) combination work together to achieve control of the designated area and to obtain details of the moving target of high priority. Experiments show that the system can effectively achieve to track the moving target and zoom tracking the moving target which has the highest priority. The system meets the realtime requirements. In the actual production and life, it is an optional video tracking and monitoring system.
