Abstract :
In order to accurately construct a three-dimensional hull´s curves and surfaces model we use NURBS inverse algorithm to implement the fitting from the hull line points to hull curve and surface, use the NURBS degree elevation and knot insertion algorithm to achieve a unified expression of the straight line, second-order arc and free curve, and use the skinning surface method to achieve the hull surface fitting. According to the analysis of fairing methods such as energy method and the least square method a new expression of the curve fairing is proposed and could be solved. Drawing on the experience of TRIBON lines´ fairing method a three directional interactive fairing method of hull surface based on auxiliary line is set up. At last three-dimensional configuration of the hull surface design could be realized with VC and OpenGL toolkit.
