Abstract :
The detecting robot has been designed based on the advanced SOPC technology. The FPGA board of Altera was used as the robot´s controller. This mobile robot can realize navigating and positioning by use of GPS and EC. And the mobile robot can detect the site information by the ultrasonic and wireless-camera. The information of the robot site were transmitted to PC by wireless transmission module. The operator can remotely control the robot and the manipulator on PC interface. This detecting robot could help operator to judge the scene of the accident situation for effective rescue work.
