  • Abstract
    The methods of formation of surface layers by ion implantation and a vacuum ion-plasma method of deposition of coatings are considered in this investigation. The model of the processes occurring in materials under the influence of these types of irradiation is developed. The processes arising in the surface layers of the modified material are also considered. The conducted experimental and theoretical studies allowed the definition of the necessary elements of the structure, covering the parameters of the products of the ion-plasma modification and the parameters in which the operation of products is admissible.
