Abstract :
On the base of the developed approach outlining design of complex products it is proposed to reduce costs of the design and implementation of new models in various industries, particularly in the clothing industry. Research and development of appropriate mathematical models is in progress. The forming of series and sets of products of some assortment groups of clothes is studied. The structure of the expert system, that has been developing, is presented. Some computational experiments are described.
